Ms. Musheerah Harris
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
The decision to become a teacher was influenced by a combination of personal experiences, a passion for learning, and a desire to make a positive impact on young lives. Growing up, my mother was a kindergarten teacher who often played school with me on the weekends. Doing this, made learning seem fun and I was excited about the information I was retaining. I also had a few exceptional teachers who not only imparted knowledge but also nurtured my curiosity and instilled a love for learning. Witnessing their dedication and the profound impact they had on my life inspired me to pursue a career in education.
Teaching, for me, is not just a profession but a calling that fills me with immense joy and purpose. It is a privilege to guide and inspire young minds, to foster a love for learning, and to empower students to reach their full potential. I firmly believe that every child has unique strengths and abilities, and it is my responsibility as an educator to create a safe and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
What sets me apart as an outstanding teacher is my unwavering belief in the power of connection. I strive to ensure that my students are not only connected to the content we are studying but also to the world around them. I believe that education should be relevant, meaningful, and applicable to real-life situations. By making connections between the curriculum and the world, I aim to ignite curiosity, foster critical thinking, and develop global citizens who are aware and empathetic.

Ms. Marianne Campagna
Child Development Associate
I work in a bilingual early childhood program for English and Spanish-speaking students. My position is important for helping with structure in the classroom, nurturing a child's growth socially and educationally. The factor that influenced me to choose my profession is enjoying being a part of the early fundamental learning process for children. An early education for all children is imperative to a child's growth both educationally and emotionally.
