Beautifying School Facilities Throughout our District

  • Elizabeth Public Schools continues to construct and modernize school buildings to provide innovative and personalized learning environments that ensure every child achieves excellence. Our district has been a leader in securing New Jersey school construction funding, which has paid 100% of the expenses for the construction of 11 newly constructed school facilities since 2001. Additionally, we continue to modernize and equip our schools to meet the increasing demands of providing a high quality and comprehensive education in the 21st century.

These efforts are led by the Elizabeth Public Schools’ Division of Plant, Property, and Equipment. Each day throughout the year, this division of dedicated professionals, including custodians, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, laborers, and others, maintain and repair the infrastructure of our school district. They are once again working tirelessly behind the scenes this summer to prepare our school buildings for success for the 2019-2020 school year.
